Gallery of the C64 Version Remains

Eclipse started an attempt to port the 16 bit shoot'em up "Lethal Xcess" onto
the 8 bit C64. Three very skilled young men were involved in this project,
their names are Mario Knezovic (code), Oliver Lindau (graphics) and Thomas
Detert (music). Unfortunately the development was stopped for economic reasons
after four months of hard work. The first level, one loading screen, most music and
all basic routines had been finished before the project was cancelled. Oliver
Lindau finally checked his old floppies for remains of his graphics and
discovered the following gems:
All graphics have been created with a custom designed painting program, which was coded by Mario Knezovic and used a special little hardware add-on to allow the connection of an Atari ST mouse to the C64. We are trying to rebuild this hardware to get this program back into life. Fortunately the painting tool has been recoded for joystick usage and will hopefully be available for download soon.
